Sparkle This Season With The Front Row!*

The Front Row Jewellery Review

Hello beauties and merry Christmas eve to you all! However your spending it I hope you are having a wonderful time.
I thought this would be a good moment to share with you some jewellery I received to review; so snuggle up and prepare to read my thoughts on The Front Row!

All comments and opinions are 100% my own and I've not been paid to say them.

I was contacted by the lovely owner whom sent beautifully packaged Items, containing the cutest Kitsch teacup ring and a statement Necklace; both of which reflected what I love when it comes to wearing jewellery, it seemed she knew me so well!

 Initial Thoughts

  • The Items were delivered in adorable striped candy bags, wrapped perfectly which ensured nothing was broken.
  • I was very surprised to see the Teacup ring, Its expandable so you can adjust it to size which I find helps as I've got quite small fingers! So ring sizes wouldn't have been much of a problem and is a great idea for jewellery businesses.
  • I like the variety of jewellery that Front Row has, something Kitsch and then a modern statement piece is perfect when switching up a look!
  • The necklace is a gorgeous gold and purple/pink gem set, I've become quite obsessed with these styles of necklaces, they make a statement alone with a block colour top or dress that simply dresses the neck beautifully.
  • With the necklace, it wasn't a heavy piece of jewellery either, when worn it didn't feel as if it was weighing me down! and I had a lot of compliments when wearing this piece!

I wish you all a very merry Christmas!
A big thank you to The Front Row; do check out the website to view their current pieces!

GreenLand Natural Gifts For Christmas!*

Greendland Raspberry travel set Review

Hello Lovelies! Tis the season to be jolly and of course planning what to get for loved ones as well as writing our own wish lists!
I love purchasing sets for family, and I was lucky to hear about Greenland Beauty which are a company who provide a wonderful range of goodies, that are all Natural and organic skin care.

I was surprised to get the opportunity to review one of their fruit extracts gift sets, the glorious Raspberry set which contains four travel sized products.

All comments and opinions are 100% my own and I've not been paid to say them.

Initial Thoughts
  • The packaging was perfect for reusable purposes, personally I'd usually take my toiletries away in a separate bag which would usually be a cloth texture; But with this seal lock bag its a better alternative if for instance something was to spill within it can easily be cleaned up!
  • The product packaging is very simple yet states the obvious of the scent and the collection, including all relevant information on the product such as its contents amount and ingredients.
  • The selection of products I found was ideal when you're going either to someone's to stay over or even take on a break away! There is a shower gel to freshen up, a 2-in-1 shampoo and conditioner, a body cream to soften your skin and a fruity hand soap.
  • I found that the actual raspberry scent of the products wasn't overpowering, it was a soft light scent which I feel is perfect for subtle skin care.
  • I think a set like this is adorable for a Christmas gift, especially for those who haven't tried any of this range before. Also with being organic you can't go wrong with kind to skin ingredients!

To purchase this set and many other fruit scents available please visit -

Thank you for reading!

*NEW* Feature Friday - Give The Dog A Bone 1st of November

New Feature Friday!
Featuring Give The Dog A Bone

Hello Lovelies! Hope you're having a grand Friday, and also enjoyed Halloween. It's the first of November and the first of this month's feature Fridays! Now this feature I've been so excited to show to my readers, mainly because this is a store I visit every time I go to York.
Give the dog a bone is a shop which consists of everything that's unique, different, quirky and fun! For the whole family they provide gifts and cards, pop culture to favourite comic and cartoons such as Danger mouse to TinTin!

My favourite brand which they sell there is Disaster designs/paper plane, with creative and unique purses and bags; it's always hard not to be tempted whenever I've been there of course!

It's a pleasure to interview the Manager of York's Give the dog a bone to hear about her job and to get to know more about her and the shop!

-------------------------------------------------------
Interview with Cat l Manager of Give The Dog A Bone

1) What has been your key inspiration to your current career?
My key inspiration is actually very simple: it is my personal taste! I started out just working in the shop as a Saturday girl, and the longer I've been working at ...give the dog a bone, the more I've come to realise that if you have a passion for what you do, that passion is easy for your customers to see, and it makes them enthusiastic about what you do or sell. I can genuinely say I love what we sell, and although you can fake it, nothing is more obvious to a customer than half hearted sales talk.

2) What do you enjoy the most about your job?
The thing I love most about my job is probably tied between making the displays – and picking what we sell! I LOVE thinking of creative ways to display the items we have to sell in our shop, and especially love designing the window displays. Recently we had a Super Mario themed window display and we made the entire window look like a level from Super Mario Bros. That is great fun. But I have to admit that I adore choosing new stock to sell and visiting trade shows to see what new items our suppliers have in the pipeline. It is like the biggest shopping spree ever, but without any of the regret, because it is all stock for the shop!

3) To date, what has been your 'proudest' moment?
My proudest moment I think has to be when one of our suppliers was so impressed by one of the Doctor Who displays we made that they featured it in their newsletter, used it as an example for other stockists, and even sent a copy to the BBC. It’s nice to know that even though we are a small business we can still make people sit up and take notice of us.

4) Where do you see yourself in the future?
In the future I think I’d like to run my own shop, but maybe make it more boutique style than ...give the dog a bone, maybe with clothes, and pretty shoes. Oh and with a chaise lounge in the changing room. Obviously!

5) What tips/advice would you give to someone who wants to go down the same career path as yourself?
If you’re wanting to go into working in the gift industry, I’d start out early on by getting work experience in either a small independent gift shop, or maybe somewhere bigger, like Paperchase. Experience on the shop floor is invaluable as you need to know not only how your customers think, but your staff too!

6) Which would you say is your favourite item off your website at the moment?
My favourite item HAS to be the new “Bohemia Satchel” by Disaster Designs. It is so beautiful and a really useful size too.

-------------------------------------------------------

-------------------------------------------------------

*NEW* Feature Friday - Love Beauty and Spa Blog 25th of October

New Feature Friday!
Featuring Love Beauty and Spa

Happy Friday everyone! Hope you're all doing okay feels like this month has rushed by! So will be November and almost..If I dare say it..Christmas.
But on with the blog post! Today's feature I'm pleased to announce is another fellow blogger, Love Beauty and spa which is owned by the lovely Lottie. She blogs all about everything beauty related from reviews to her own personal thoughts! With interesting blog posts and clear photography to match, she is a joy to read!
I'm extremely pleased that she contacted me to Feature her, so my readers can also find out about her beautiful self!

Read on to see our interview and what Lottie enjoys about blogging.

-------------------------------------------------------
Interview with Lottie l Owner of Love Beauty and Spa

1) What has been your key inspiration to beginning your blog?
I have always been obsessed with all things beauty, and since becoming a beauty therapist I have had the opportunity to try many new products out. I wanted to share new products and different beauty brands with others.

2) What do you enjoy the most about blogging?
Although I really enjoy writing each post, my favourite aspect would have to be the really thoughtful and encouraging comments that are left on some of my posts. Bloggers share a really friendly and positive community and everyone is really supportive. It helps keep blogging fun!

3) To date, what has been your 'proudest' blog moment?
This probably sounds quite dull, but I think simply designing my blog and publishing my first post was my proudest moment. I am absolutely awful with using computers (most technology for that matter), so it took me ages to set up and even longer to feel brave enough to publish my very first post as I was nervous about what other people would think. I then realised that I should be blogging for me, and not for anybody else and now I never feel nervous about any blog post I publish.
I also recently attended Superdrug’s Press Show where they displayed new brands and new products soon to be launched in Superdrug stores. This was my first ‘blogger event’ so was really nervous, but met some amazing people and discovered some fantastic new products and had a fabulous day. I now can’t wait to attend more!

4) Where do you see yourself and blog develop in the future?
I am currently setting up my own beauty business, Heartsease Beauty (www.heartsease-beauty.co.uk) so I would obviously love for that to become successful. I also plan to continue blogging for as long as possible, as I find it really fun.

5) What tips/advice would you give to someone who wants to go down the blogging path like yourself?
I think many people who regularly read blogs would love to create their own blog. My advice would be: go for it. You have absolutely nothing to lose, just things to gain. Blogging isn’t about getting your blog ‘famous’, it is about having fun sharing your thoughts and networking with other lovely people within the blogging community. Always write about what you are passionate about and it will always be fun.

6) Which would you say is your favourite type of blog post to do?
I would probably say reviews. I love reading reviews and I love writing reviews – particularly about very new products that have just been launched. Whenever I hear about a new product, I am always desperate to know whether it actually works. This is why blog reviews are so useful!

7) 3 Must have beauty items you couldn't be without!
As you can imagine, I own and use an obscene amount of products, but my top three would have to include BareMinerals foundation, Neal & Wolf Harmony hair treatment, and probably St Tropez tanning mousse. I use them all the time and am yet to find products which top them, in my opinion.

*NEW* Feature Friday - Cheeky Poppins 18th of October

New Feature Friday!
Featuring Cheeky Poppins

Horrraaaaaay It's Friday and hopefully you all have that Friday feeling! Of course It wouldn't be Friday without Feature Friday on UniqueLoveStyle, so without further a due here's this week's Feature, Cheeky Poppins!

I recall coming across this website and completely falling in love with the concept. There are many quirky ways to add glitz to any outfit, whether it's shoes a blazer or need to add something to your hair.. Cheeky Poppins brings the glamorous quick fix for all those needs! Very well known for their Shoekies which came from the well known moment where an unfortunate staining to a favourite pair of shoes occur, a versatile clip with that added sparkle was used to hide the stain but also bring the shoes back to life with a new look.
But it doesn't end there, Cheeky Poppins also create alternatives to jewellery, special occasions and day to day adornments!

I was intrigued to hear more of the story of the 'Shoekies' as I had the chance to interview Jennifer, the owner of Cheeky Poppins.

-------------------------------------------------------
Interview with Jennifer Chuks l Owner of Cheeky Poppins Shoe Clips

1) What has been your key inspiration to your current career?
My key inspiration is trying my hardest to inspire originality in fashion by more than just a few daredevils. To see more risk takers on the high street and more eccentricities in my South London neighbourhood. It doesn't take as much effort as some hipsters may make you assume to add a bit of originality and uniqueness to an ensemble, and I have always believed the easiest way to personalise and jazz up anything are the accessories. The easiest but by no means the most dramatic, but if we were all dramatic there will be panic.

2) What do you enjoy the most about your job?
I enjoy the feedback I get from customers the most. I do a lot of instagramming and take a lot of street style images and talk a lot to real people. Tell them about the product and their excitement fills me with more enthusiasm for my product each day. I thought it would never cotton on and I am very glad to eat my own words.

3) To date, what has been your 'proudest' moment?
My proudest moment was winning “Best Selected Exhibitor” by Show Review UK magazine when I exhibited at my first ever trade show Pure London 34 in August this year. I put every bit of my personality into my stand to really hammer home our fun fashion ethos. We had cake stands to display the product in, filled with brightly coloured tissue paper and each accessory was literally the icing on each cake. Boutique owners and buyers loved the concept and the product and it has been a whirlwind of busy busy busy ever since. It was a big investment and I was so proud that we shone brightly enough and were awarded for it.

4) Where do you see yourself in the future?
I certainly don’t see myself slowing down in any way shape or form in the future. I hope to go from strength to strength with the product. The range has tripled since its launch and I only wish to continue with Cheeky Poppins Shoe Clips as the most innovative product in high street fashion for a very long time.

5) What tips/advice would you give to someone who wants to go down the same career path as yourself?
I am not sure I am in a position to give advice as everyone’s situation going into a career in fashion will be extremely different. Something which applies to every Dick, Tom and Harry would be research your toosh off. Research, research, research. Perspective is a very useful asset and will help a bunch. And sleep, don’t try and be a superhero, it will catch up with you. I think that is the most constructive advice I can broadly dish out.

6) Which would you say is your favourite item off your website at the moment?
Ah my favourite question. When I saw Bella I realised how girly I actually was. I watch wrestling, am an avid gym goer and prefer cider to a G&T. It has been ages since I have left the house without glass beaded bows attached to my shoes, aka Bella. Purse friendly, real leather so I don’t have to fret if I get caught in the rain and uber transferable. Worn on Converse and snake skin peep toe platforms alike, day and night. I absolutely love them.
