Gifts Galore at FindMeAGift.com!*

Have you ever struggled to find someone that perfect gift? You know their interests but still unsure what's available to suit them? Well, at FindMeAGift.co.uk they have a wide selection of gifts for everyone of every taste!
Their layout of categories makes it so much easier to view from gadgets to christening gifts or just gifts for him and her!

Their customer service was wonderful! Very helpful staff who approached me with a friendly manner and i'm very grateful to have the opportunity to review 2 of their beauty gift sets that are available to purchase from their website!

Here are my own thoughts and personal views on these products which I was kindly given to review, all comments and opinions are 100% genuine and my own and I have not been paid to do so.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Firstly is the most stunning set perfect for that natural and nude look,
It's the MeMeMe Makeup gift set - Naturally Nude.

About this Product
8g blusher box measures approx 5.7 cm x 3.2 cm x 5.7 cm
12ml of Ambitious nail colour
Full sized cream lipstick colour in China Rose
The Willow Whisper and Coral Blossom Dew Pots measure approx 3.3 cm x 2.3 cm x 3.3 cm each
The cosmetics bag measures approx 23 cm x 14 cm x 8 cm

What's in the makeup bag?
1 x Blusher
1 x Satin Lip Cream
2 x Cream Eyeshadows
1 x Nail Varnish

Here are the products in more detail and my own thoughts of them

Blush Me! Shade- Coral
8g Product, best used within 18Months of purchase.

Product contains applicator brush and mirror within the lid.

I have heard before so many positive reviews on MeMeMe's Blushes and i can totally see why! The appearance reminds me very much of benefit blushes and their usual contents, but i have found the applicator brush feels just that more softer on the skin than benefit's!
The blush is compact with a powder base, that is highly pigmented and also can be built up to a matte effect. It is a beautiful peach/coral tone which has a soft texture to it whether you use the brush or just your finger tip to apply to the cheekbones. This shade is perfect for that flush effect and if your daring to try a coral shade this would be great to start off with as it has its slight pinkish tone to it also!

Blush Swatch

Now as a lot of you may already know i adore nail varnish! And what has been hot this season is the perfect nude shade; MeMeMe has included shade 78 in Ambitious within the naturally nude set.

12ml product, best used within 6 months of purchase

I adore this shade so much! Having pale nails with being pale skinned has always worried me on how it would appear so for this i have always tried to avoid un-flattering shades; But to then hear that a big colour trend for nails this season was nudes i had my heart set on finding the right one for me! This varnish is so delightful to wear, and has been perfect for my skin tone! Its a mixture of a dusky pink and beige tone which is very glossy and sophisticated looking, it makes the nails appear longer and manicured! As always i recommend a base coat before applying this product, although it is pale i will still recommend to be on the safe side; But i shall say a topcoat is completely optional as this varnish alone has a glossed shine.

Nail Varnish Swatch

Also included within the gift set were these two Dew pots! which are rich colour eye defining cream In Willow whisper and coral blossom.

Each pot is 3ml, best used within 6months of purchase.

These are beautiful shades that can be worn together or separately, the tones are both natural and subtle for an everyday look, even for bridal make-up! These eye-shadows are cream based, I found the more the product was applied the intense the pigment became. They also have a shimmer to them which can be picked up under lighting but its very natural and not overwhelming which I love about them! Due to the inside container being quite narrow i would suggest using an eye-shadow applicator brush when using this item, i found that this item was so easy to blend and the consistency was compact yet softly textured.

View of Coral Blossom on the Left and Willow Whisper on the Right.

Swatch of each colour.

Last but of course no means least from the naturally nude MeMeMe gift set is this adorable dusky pink satin lipcream lipstick in ChinaRose.

I have seen this shade many times in stores and it has become very popular amongst bloggers! This is a perfect muted pink tone to add that little colour to your lips; This shade is perfect for all skin tones! Would be a lovely lipstick to also wear on your wedding day for those perfect lips and can be touched up during the day. This lipstick has a sheen to it and is very creamy when applying so my tip is to blot the lips after application to help matte the overall effect. This shade is very pigmented and can be built up with applying although it is a cream base lip product i would still apply a lipbalm before hand for that soft not dried out as this can be the case during the autumn/winter periods.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

For another wonderful beauty gift, here is the balm's shady lady giraffe palette Vol 3!

14.4g Product, 9 shades, Mirror inside also.

First impressions of this product was how quirky its appearance was! The packaging had an outer slip which helps the palette to remain compact, when the slip is removed the palette can be opened and closed easily with a magnetic closure. When opening the palette you can find a mirror within the top half that is completely secure, which makes it handy for when on the go touch ups!  Each shade has its own girly name which i found very
creative when it came to the names they used such as, 'All the way Annie  'Come hither Heather' and 'safe bet Annette' I think this helps to make much more of a fun product to look at as well as use! Every shadow has shimmer, which the paler colours are perfect for highlighting and the darker can either be blended for a smoky effect or applied for intensity. Personally the shades appear perfect for a natural look especially within the autumn season with its moss green and plum shade included.

As you may also notice, not only does the palette show which shade is which by printing the name of each above the shade themselves but also if it is an eye-shadow or can also be used as an eye-liner which i think is a nice touch to give people more ideas on how to use the palette when trying different looks! These eyeshadows are compact powder based and very soft to the touch, lovely pigmentation and in all i think this would make such a nice gift for someone who loves their palettes and all things retro this christmas time!

Overwhelming Swap With LifeInABreakDown ❤

Hello Lovelies! This is a brand new style of blog post for me but I have been really excited to publish this! Some of you were aware of the International beauty swap that was hosted by the lovely LolaStarHearts and BBloggers Unite. When I heard about this opportunity of doing a beauty swap I jumped at the chance as this would be my first ever!
At first i had no idea what to expect, but the whole organisation was really professional and we could all choose where in the world we would want to swap products with the most..Due to this being my first time i wanted to start off just simply with someone who was in the UK so I could understand the concept, build the confidence and learn the postal rates! haha :)

Due to the organising I received an email from Lola detailing whom I have been partnered with for the swap and this was the kind hearted, Sarah. We swapped twitters and from there built a great friendship, talking about our interests and what type of products we would love to try even to our most worn colours! I think I was very lucky to have such a great swap partner who was consistent when it came to messaging and communicating as it made me feel more relaxed; Sarah knew it was also my birthday coming up during the swap so she organised her package to come before so that I could open it during my time away! I was so tempted to open it before but I behaved and waited lol!

The package arrived safely and was packed very well with no breakages! Opening the box revealed this gorgeous bag, I adore it! I knew already that Sarah read me so well as soon as I saw this and gosh there were so much more to come that I really didn't expect!

This cute bag is a 90% recycled product which makes it even more special! And the base material of the bag has been made from recycled plastic bottles! I'm very sure I will take this along with me for future picnics with my little niece!

She also put in a sweet card which also took me by surprise because the front was cute owls! Eeek so adorable how she put this in and the wonderful thought she put into the words. There were a packet of Haribo sweets that yes.. I did enjoy! Lol which explains why they are not featured within the pictures ^_^

The next thing that I saw was a sheer silver organza bag which contained wonderful samples to test! This included -
* Liz Earle Sheer Skin Tint in Beige 02
* Nivea Visage Pure & Natural Regenerating Night Cream
* L'Occitane Exfoliating Gel
* L'Occitane Ultra Gentle Moisturizer
*Voya bright eyes, anti-aging eye creme
*Korres Wild Rose 24hr Moisturizer

As I go back through the cute bag the next item I pull out is a gorgeous scented Yankee candle which is in the scent - Fluffy Towels which such a fresh and relaxing scent! I'm starting to collect various Yankee Candles so this is perfect for my collection.

Then there was a small set perfect for on the go which was a Russian doll theme which i once had many years ago, this included a pocket mirror which is great for any handbag! Tweezers and mini nail files! Loved the quirkiness to this set!

Along with the Russian doll theme she had also sent me a Punky Pins perspex necklace which is beautiful and so me! I was so overwhelmed at his point which you can gather!

What else did LifeInABreakDown include?

*Montagne Jennesse Dry Skin Mask with 2 steps - Perfect as I have dry areas on my face and having a testing mask session to find new ones to try so can't wait to use this!

Ellie's Birthday Haul ❤

So this is a new type of blog post that I am writing today; It's a birthday haul!
I was thinking over about sharing this with you and from many comments I received on Twitter of you whom wanted to see what goodies I received on my birthday.. well here we go!

So for my birthday I went for a weekend away to the wonderful place of York; Both myself and my mum went so it was very much more of a girly weekend! Hehe. We had so much of a struggle when it came to getting there, for the first time we travelled there by train and I think we can safely say the experience was quite overwhelming...
But we did it and we got there! *Phew*

I had the most beautiful cards and stunning gifts that as you may see, really reflected my love and adore for all things cute and shabby!

I feel that each gift has its own special meaning, as I have got older I didn't have a particular thought of 'what I would like for my birthday' But I am hoping some point to re-do my bedroom and make it totally vintage and shabby! So i'm very sure many of these beautiful gifts will have their proud place in there!

Of course if you have any questions if your curious on anything I received i'd be more than happy to tell you more about it! Hehe. Because a lot of my family wasn't too sure on what to get as they were worried I had already had it.. they kindly gave me money to buy what I would prefer instead! With this as you may have spotted I purchased the Feeling Dandy kit by Benefit, a Fashionista palette which had a free mascara and a stunning O.P.I Nail Varnish in Pedal Faster Suzi! My brother, sister in law and lovely baby niece also gave me a boots voucher to go towards a brand new perfume i've been having my eye on too! I'm sure I will be giving you brand new posts on these as soon as I can!

I would love to thank all my wonderful family for the sweet and kind hearted cards and gifts, It really was a lovely birthday away from a lot of stress and emotional times back at home so I couldn't be any more grateful!

Sparkle This Season!*

Hello my lovelies! Ellie here, bringing you another review on gorgeous W7 products that I would think are perfect for the fall/winter season coming up!

-- Featured in this review are; W7 Multi Dazzle Nail Varnish, W7 Nail Varnish in Cerise Pink, W7 Magnetic Magic Green Shade, W7 Perfect eyes in Black Crystal, W7 Lashtastic Mascara, W7 Double Up Volume Mascara, W7 Metallic Eyes Waterproof Eyeliner in Cosmic Silver, W7 Matte Lipstick in Red Dawn--

Here are my own thoughts and personal views on these products which I was kindly given to review, all comments and opinions are 100% genuine and my own and I have not been paid to do so.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

When it comes to those Christmas work parties or new years nights out nothing is finer than gorgeous glitter claws! This varnish has been compared to many others and has been found to be the most affordable dupe! It's the Multi Dazzle Nail Varnish!

Product advises to shake well before use
The colour is in 116 Multi Dazzle
15ml polish best used within 24months

My First initial thoughts of this product

-Bottle shape is similar to O.P.I
- Amount of product is very reasonable
- Product's shade is clearly shown
-Product brand is clearly shown on the front
- Shows how many months this product is best used within
- Ingredients are present on the bottle
- Safety of using the product is visible
- Appears to have many sized parts of glitter within for a better effect

Review of W7's Multi Dazzle Nail Varnish

I think this was a product that I was most excited about and to try! Simply because i'm a lover of all things glitter and to see this polish with its different glitter colours and sizes all in one bottle was very overwhelming to see how this would appear onto the nails. As you can see the colours appear perfect to go alone on the nails, or on top of another shade just to give it that extra dazzle! The varnish itself is smooth in consideration to the sizes of the glitter within and doesn't go clumpy within application. To go for the look of using this varnish just as its own to build the coverage of the glitter would be ideal to use at least 2 coats which is what I used on the swatch appearing above. This varnish has been compared to many of the multi glitters but at such a reasonable price and fantastic quality I would always recommend this for value for money!
Of course take into consideration as this is a glitter varnish It isn't always easy to remove!

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Next up for those pretty nails to pop this season
W7's Nail Varnish in Cerise Pink

Product advises to shake well before use
The colour is in 44 Cerise Pink
15ml polish best used within 24months

My First initial thoughts of this product

-Bottle shape is similar to O.P.I
- Amount of product is very reasonable
- Product's shade is clearly shown
-Product brand is clearly shown on the front
- Shows how many months this product is best used within
- Ingredients are present on the bottle
- Safety of using the product is visible
- Gorgeous pink shade laced with that added gold sparkle

Review of W7's Cerise Pink Nail Varnish

As most of you can tell, one of my favourite colours is of course Pink! And I find it one of my most favourite shades to wear for nail polish; so of course when I found out I was reviewing the cerise pink shade I was overjoyed!

As you can see from the photographs that I took of this varnish, within the bold pink tone there are swirls of a gold shade this just helps to give its overall sparkly shine as I found from doing a swatch as you can see above. From just 2 coats the colour appeared as a beautiful cerise shade that when was caught in the light it would shimmer and shine, lovely for those celebrations coming up this season! The consistency was very good and the varnish was not too thick nor too runny; I was able to even wear this polish without a top coat as it had plenty of shine on its own! But of course for extra protection a top coat can be applied if you wish :) This shade would be perfect for anytime and any season but i'm sure i'll be wearing it during this autumn for a splash of colour!

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Next is W7's very own Magnetic Nails!
What did i think to this product and how did it do?

Product advises to shake well before use
The colour is in a green tone shade
15ml polish best used within 18months
Magnet is included

My First initial thoughts of this product

-Bottle shape is similar to O.P.I
- Amount of product is very reasonable
- Has a clear direct step by step on how to use the varnish
-Product brand is clearly shown on the front
- Shows how many months this product is best used within
- Ingredients are present on the bottle
- Safety of using the product is visible
- The magnet is separate within the box

Review of W7's Magnetic Magic Nail Polish

Of course for some time the Magnetic nail trend has been brought out by different leading brands such as nails inc and to hear that W7 also did this style but at a super price I was curious on how well both the varnish and magnet worked! First thing which I did was look at the packaging, on the back of the box it tells you step by step on how to use the product to create the overall style which I was more than happy to see and found this helpful for the customer; Secondly while still within the packaging I looked at the bottle I completely adore the shade, the only polish of this type I have used before was the Silver shade so to try something different would be interesting to see! Then I looked at the lid to the bottle and noticed it looked like just any other.. No sign of the magnet? To my surprise I opened the packaging and firmly placed on top was a hand held magnet! I think at this time I felt both relieved yet overwhelmed to see this is how they designed the nail magnet. Of course from this I followed the instructions to produce the swatch above for you! Bearing in mind the nail tip is actually quite long so the magnet wasn't able to make an all over design but from what was produced of it and from my previous failures with magnetic nail art I was quite pleased with myself! Hehe.. These magnetic magic nail varnishes come within different shades and the magnet can also be found as a star design in some also!

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Looking to create those perfect smoky eyes for this seasons events and parties?
Here is my thoughts on the perfect eyes eyeshadow by W7.

W7 Perfect Eyes In Black Crystal
3.5g Compact product
Best used within 12Months of purchase

My First initial thoughts of this product

- Perfectly compact
- Lightweight product
- Product's shade is clearly shown
-Product brand is clearly shown on the front
- Shows how many months this product is best used within
- Ingredients are present on the bottle

Review of W7's perfect eyes in Black Crystal

This is a perfect matte black powder eyeshadow with that extra shimmer for an added pop to the eyes! I adore W7's eyeshadows I have a few others within the perfect eyes range and they have always been great quality that i would use whether its a day or night look. I just pop on my urban decay primer and then the shadow over the top and it lasts hours the quality and wear is fantastic. The texture of the eyeshadow itself is soft but compact yet it's always safe to handle shadows like this more with care so that they do not break causing the shadow to smash. Obviously i recommend to use this shade for a smoky eye look yet also for a twist.. Halloween will soon be round the corner too! This is perfect for something with extra wear and is easily blendable so you can find how much pigment suits you yet you can soften the look easily as well.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

For that sexy fall falselash effect
W7's Lashtastic & Double up volume mascara has all the answers..

This is a 15ml Product
Best used within 24 Months of purchase

This is a 12ml Product
Best used within 6 Months of purchase

My First initial thoughts of these products
- Very sleek design
- Perfect for on the go
- Fits nicely into any handbag/ luggage/ make-up bag
- Font is clear and readable
- Brand's logo shown
- Ingredients of the product provided
- Has modern shape packaging
- Packaging is strong

Review of W7's Lashtastic False Liquid Lashes

I adore my mascaras and this has been very highly rated within other blogs comparing it also to MaxFactor's False Lash! This is a highly pigmented mascara that picks up every lash when applied; it doesn't clump either or dry them out resulting to flaking. I love to wear this mascara whether its on its own or when I match it up with any false lashes for that ultimate look! The brush is strong with a wide effect to help apply to all lashes; and gives them so much volume. I'm very impressed with this mascara I must say and would be one of my new favourites!

----------------------------------------------

Review of W7's Double Up Volume Mascara

-- Step 1 Brush --

-- Step 2 Brush --

This of course was another mascara which I knew would have an awesome element about it, and that's the 2 step brush application to maximise lash volume! The first step can be removed easily by simply unscrewing from the lid to this the wand is slim which helps to section the lashes, Next you place it back into place to then unscrew the second step which like the other it is removed easily and has a much larger wand to give the lashes thickness and volume!  This product is also waterproof and would be lovely during the fall and winter months to flutter those peepers!

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Shine like a star this Christmas with W7's Metallic Eyes!

Waterproof Eye-liner in Cosmic Silver 2.5g product
Recommended use within 6Months of purchase

My First initial thoughts of this product
- Very sleek item
- Perfect for on the go
- Fits nicely into any handbag/ luggage/ make-up bag
- Colour sample on the end of the case
- Font is clear and readable
- Brand's logo shown
- Ingredients of the product provided

Review of W7's Metallic eyes in Cosmic Silver

I've been very impressed with W7's Metallic eyes collection from previously testing the shades!
The tip is very slim and is a brush texture, so I would recommend this for a precise liner that is applied close to the lash line but it can be built up for intensity which i preferred to do to give more of a intense liner look. The pigmentation was very good for a shimmer liner and I loved using this to complete a smoky eyed look it completely set the look off and was wonderful under lighting to pick up the shimmer tones.

The liquid fluid isn't too thick nor runny and dries very quickly also once applied; I've found it's easy to remove with a make-up wipe etc and doesn't smudge either.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Perfect kisses under the mistletoe with this rocking red!

W7's Matte Lipstick in Red Dawn
Best used within 12Months of purchase

My First initial thoughts of this product
- Product packaging is sleek
- The twist up portion is smooth
- The bullet part of the lipstick case is securely placed
- Ingredients are printed on the outer wrapping
- Product shade's name is printed on clearly

Review of W7's Magic matte lips in Red Dawn

I couldn't have been happier to see this lipstick to review! Of course some of you know i adore my vintage and 50s inspired make-up and i don't usually have a sufficient red lipstick for that ultimate pout. With seeing the word 'Matte' did give me a slight worry as i find my lips dry out quite quickly especially during the autumn/winter months but i was pleasantly surprised, that this stunning red lipstick was moisturising within its texture upon the skin that it wouldn't dry the lips but leave a glossy dramatic pout! This is my top red lipstick right now as i find it flatters my skin tone and would very much recommend it to those who are looking for a perfect red lip for this season!

Shine this season with W7 ♥
