Happy Friday everyone! Today's Feature Friday is all about Daisy Thomas; A business which provides the most unique and trendy accessories. I found them by my weekly read through of magazines, the business advertisements section always catches my eye when finding out about boutique and small businesses.
If your looking for something that's in season yet very different from your high street stores, Daisy Thomas provides just that! They're a British, Nottingham based accessory designer which made me think, oh what a small world!

Interview with Daisy l Owner of Daisy Thomas
1) What has been your key inspiration to your current career?
I think it all began from watching my Mother and Grandmother making clothes, my family are a creative bunch. After graduating from my Textile degree I started work as a freelance designer. I created embroidery and prints for fashion labels. Although it was fun it wasn't well paid and my designs would get copyrighted so I thought why not go it alone.
2) What do you enjoy the most about your job?
There are so many aspects of my job that I love. Firstly it’s great being your own boss. Having the choice of when I start and finish is nice. You also get to meet so many exciting in interesting people in this industry. My favourite time of year is the festival season. I have a stall selling my wears at Secret Garden Party, this is when I get to mix work with pleasure.
3) To date, what has been your 'proudest' moment?
I think it was seeing a feature in Company magazine and getting my work blogged on the Elle website.
4) Where do you see yourself in the future?
Still continuing to develop my business. Hopefully having outlets around the world and just being a well respected designer.
5) What tips/advice would you give to someone who wants to go down the same career path as yourself?
I would just say, try out everything and keep going. You will succeed if you try hard enough, give your all and more.
6) Which would you say is your favourite item off your website at the moment?
The customised headphones, this was the first product I created and has been a great seller ever since.
