*NEW* Feature Friday- Enchanted Willow 30th of November

New Feature Friday!
Featuring Enchanted Willow

Such a joy to feature this company whom I came across while exploring all things chic and unique. Enchanted Willow is an on-line boutique which sells quirky jewellery to vintage handbags! A perfect place to treat yourself or for that extra special gift for someone this Christmas.

Currently for this Movember, All money raised from their 'Moustache Collection' will go towards helping to raise money for men's health which is a very important cause to donate towards! But not just that, throughout this month shipping is...FREE so don't miss out!

-------------------------------------------------

Interview with Sophie l Enchanted Willow

1) What has been your key inspiration to your current career?

A) My Daughter, Willow is my main inspiration for what I do. So much so, I
named my business after her.

2) What do you enjoy the most about your job?

A) I absolutely LOVE all things quirky, cute and handmade. I love finding
the sweetest little charms and creating something unique and beautiful.
It's a great feeling knowing that somewhere out there, there are happy
people wearing something I have made.

3) To date, what has been your 'proudest' moment?

A) My proudest moment would have to be when I was contacted personally
with the opportunity to retail at the Clothes Show Live. Unfortunately,
I only had 23 days notice and couldn't take part but I was so happy that
I had been found and invited to take part in such a huge annual event.
definitely next year!

4) Where do you see yourself in the future?

A) In the future, I see myself running my own little boutique bringing
people the best in vintage style jewellery, accessories, art and prints.
I'm always jotting down ideas about how I'd want the shop the look and
what items I'd like in there etc. I get all excited whenever I think
about it!

5) What tips/advice would you give to someone who wants to go down the
same career path as yourself?

A) The advice I would give for anyone who plans to go down the same career
path as me, is to be patient. There are no fast success stories in
jewellery making, but if you don't start now, it will never come!
Never underestimate yourself and try every crazy idea that comes to you
mind. All of the biggest jewellery makers of the world were somewhere
you are now. They made it because they were bold and believed in
themselves.

6) Which would you say is your favourite item off your website at the
moment?

A) Right now my favourite item/s are my little porcelain teacup necklaces.
I absolutely fell in love with these charms when I seen them and just
had to get them. I'll also be making earrings out of them so watch this
space!

Just a selection of their beautiful items which they have available to ship worldwide. Each piece seems magical in itself that adds a little character to any outfit.

If you adore all things vintage, unique and kitsch or know someone who does, Enchanted Willow is a perfect boutique with affordable prices with so much more in store!

Festive Fun! - Women's Christmas Gift Ideas*

Gosh this year really has flown by! Some of you have started your Christmas shopping, yet others as well as myself, are still struggling to find the perfect gift for someone.. well fear not as findmeagift.co.uk have something for everyone this Christmas all on one website!

You may have read my previous post about this wonderful website whom supplies gifts from toys to beauty products, and for this Christmas there has been no exception!

Here are two of their top 10 women's gifts this Christmas, that I received to test out and present to you just to give you last minute ideas.

--------------------------------------------------------------

Knitted Bootie Owl Slippers & Mememe Cosmetics Gift Set - Beautifully Bronzed

Here are my own thoughts and personal views on these products which I was kindly given to review, all comments and opinions are 100% genuine and my own and I have not been paid to do so.

----------------------------------------------

I was ever so excited to see these adorable slipper booties on their website; they are just as snug as they look too! This year i have loved anything with owl designs on, whether its clothing or furniture i find them so cute so to pick which design to try out... of course i chose the owl!
They are sculptured nicely so can be easily slipped on and off without any problems, I immediately noticed how comfortable they were with a non-slip sole! The interior is a fleece like texture, which helps even more with keeping the feet warm through the cold season. I'm only a size 4 but these booties can fit from a 4 to a 7 so for me they are indeed very snug. These are currently in stock over on their website along with varies designs, from £17.99. I'm sure i'll be snuggled up wearing these during Christmas, if you do purchase these remember they are also for indoor use only! Perfect for your family or friends!

----------------------------------------------------------------------

Ever stuck for finding a cute beauty gift-set for that special someone? Let them shine this season with gorgeous bronze and gold tones with the beautifully bronzed set from MeMeMe cosmetics. These have been a brand that i have always enjoyed using their products due to their long lasting wear, unique shades and highly pigmented. This set is perfect for those who adore make-up or this brand, with something for the eyes, lips, nails and face with a cute chic make-up bag to store them within. These shades are stunning for winter, and really bring warmth to the skin. What stood out to me the most had to be the bronzing goddess rocks which can be used by sweeping a powder brush or a blush brush along these formed bronze powder rocks to then apply to the cheeks and nose for a sun-kissed look that leaves your skin glowing! Perfect Christmas gift for women and teenagers that's available on-line at £24.99!

-------------------------------------------------------

You can find these gifts and many more over on findmeagift.co.uk with a wide range it's a perfect site to check out for any last minute christmas shopping!

*NEW* Feature Friday- Randomeyes Boutique 23rd of November

New Feature Friday!
Featuring Randomeyes Boutique

Today's feature is based upon a wonderful and quirky company, Randomeyes Boutique! Randomeyes Boutique jewellery and accessories share a uniquely quirky twist - they are random everyday objects...with kawaii inspired googly eyes!

I'm a big fan of all things cute and kitsch, and coming across this adorable selection of jewellery and accessories i was completely within my element. The website layout in general is presented clearly with both text and images that regard what they create, their concept and also what's new on their site!

(Custard Cream Necklace)

I find the detailing alone of the products so realistic, but do remember you can't eat them! The products are very unique and eye-catching with affordable prices perfect for a Christmas gift too.

--------------------------------------------------------------------

I was able to have a very wonderful interview with the owner herself; here are her thoughts and it was such a pleasure to hear more about herself and Randomeyes Boutique!

Interview with Karen(AKA Ren)lRandomeyes Boutique Owner

1) What has been your key inspiration to your current career?

A) Japanese culture has played a significant role in the development of the Randomeyes Boutique style. I've always loved kawaii characters ie. 'things' with faces, and this undoubtedly influences my designs. However, I've also battled with mental health problems for the majority of my life, so having a creative outlet has been a natural progression for me. I often find social interaction challenging...so giving random objects their own 'personalities' seemed like the obvious thing to do! I actually have a section of my website dedicated to the mental health charity Mind (http://randomeyesboutique.co.uk/category/2229-randomeyes-boutique-charity.aspx) to try and raise awareness, and funds, for this very worthy cause.

2) What do you enjoy the most about your job?

A) I get a lot of satisfaction from the knowledge that there are people walking around wearing something I've designed and made myself. It's a real confidence boost. I also enjoy seeing the look on people's faces when they see my products for the first time, like at craft fairs and other promotional events. A lot of people do a double-take as they're walking past, then they stop to take a closer look and soon start laughing, as what they're seeing is so unexpected! Knowing I've brought a bit of humour to someone's day is priceless.

3) To date, what has been your 'proudest' moment?

A) I think my proudest moment so far has got to be when I was invited to launch Randomeyes Boutique as an official 'brand' at the Clothes Show Live 2010. Up until this point it had just been a hobby for me, so to then have a stall amongst some of the most famous brands around at such a high profile event was amazing! It was a great opportunity to meet my customers face-to-face too, and I received a lot of really positive feedback.

4) Where do you see yourself in the future?

A) I would like to get Randomeyes Boutique products into a few more 'brick and mortar' shops, but I will always steer clear of high street chains in favour of the smaller, independent boutiques. Somewhere along the line I would like to create a few character graphics based around my charms and put them onto stationery, t-shirts and greetings cards etc. That's always appealed to me. It's just finding the time to actually do it that's tricky!

5) What tips/advice would you give to someone who wants to go down the same career path as yourself?

A) You need to love what you do, or there's no point in doing it! Only listen to criticism when it's constructive, and don't let people's opinions get you down. For every person who hates your products, there may be 10 who love them, so they're the ones you should focus on. You will never be able to please everybody, so don't try to cater for every possible market - find your niche and aim to dominate it. Make sure there's something unique about your products that make them stand out from the competition. If you're passionate about something, just go for it!

6) Which would you say is your favourite item off your website at the moment?

A) I have several items I really like, but I think my favourite are the biscuit necklaces. I couldn't decide between them though! I make each of the biscuits by hand and they're super-realistic, so it's torture being surrounded by them but not be able to eat them! I've lost count of the amount of times I've been asked 'Are those biscuits real?'!

-------------------------------------------------------------

It's a joy to feature such a remarkable business, as well as they donate to a charity close to my heart using their hand crafted products, you can see how much time and dedication they have put in to each and every piece of jewellery and accessory!

This is one of my favourite item's from their website especially for the Christmas season coming up!

 (Large Christmas Holly Necklace
£5.25)

I wish you all the greatest success with your business Karen! I'm sure you will go very far. It really was an honour to feature you!

If you could choose any item off Randomeyes Boutique to be your favourite..Which would it be? Let me know in the comments below!

*NEW* Feature Friday- All Occasion Sweet Shop 9th of November

New Feature Friday!
Featuring All Occasion Sweet Shop 9th of November

For this week's edition of Feature Friday here on UniqueLoveStyle, I would like to welcome a fun and family run business, All Occasion Sweet Shop!

Really this is a dream website where you can browse such a fabulous selection of sweet hampers, retro sweets and sweet jars for all ages. They developed the on-line store from their earlier old fashioned sweets shop based in Lancashire.
------------------------------------------

History of All Occasion Sweet Shop

Throughout the 1960`s and 70`s the shop itself, known then as `Old Fred`s Toffee Shop`, had been a favourite calling place of one of the older partners now of the All Occasion Sweet Shop.

When Old Fred sadly passed away in the 1980`s the shop progressed through various ownerships and various trades until, in the late 1990`s, we were lucky enough to buy the shop ourselves and to set about restoring it to its former glory as a good old fashioned sweets shop.

The huge success of this business over the years is what has led us now into the magical world of on-line trading, but our philosophy in running the business remains exactly the same as Old Fred`s philosophy all those years ago ....

....to brighten up the dullest of days ……. to put a smile on the face of all who visit us ……. and to help make and revive some wonderful memories!!

------------------------------------------------------------

As soon as their page loads I'm quickly drawn to the bright, welcoming and boldness to the layout which makes it very eye catching for customers. There are also clear categories placed which helps to direct you to your browsing needs, including what they can provide for party sweets to weddings sweets!

I had the pleasure to interview David who has been very informative about the business and I couldn't wait to hear more about his own thoughts on his work!

Interview with David l All Occasion Sweet Shop

1) What has been your key inspiration to your current career?
A: Looking for a career outside of our previous very responsible positions and something more 'light hearted' and which is enjoyable, rather than being pressured!!
2) What do you enjoy the most about your job?
A: Receiving special requests from people for sweets which I know will brighten up their day when they receive them!!
3) To date, what has been your 'proudest' moment?
A: Getting the website launched after what seemed like endless months of work!!
4) Where do you see yourself in the future?
A: Flying high!! And taking the business from strength to strength..... Starting with the opening of a new shop over the next few weeks!!
5) What tips/advice would you give to someone who wants to go down the same career path as yourself?
A: Follow your dreams ... don't be deterred.... stick with it!!
6) Which would you say is your favourite item off your website at the moment?
A: The Whopping Carnival Case !!! Which is amazing and crammed full of sweets!!

I'm looking forward to hearing more about the new shop opening and will be planning on visiting there I'm sure!

Their prices online are very reasonable with wonderful quantity too, you really won't be disappointed; I'm sure one of their hampers would make a perfect Christmas gift for someone you know who adores their sweets!
Also if you are to make a purchase over £50 the delivery is absolutely free and they also provide a section of wholesale sweets too!

Which is your favourite off their website? Will you be adding something to your Christmas list this year from All Occasion Sweet Shop? I'm sure I will!
